MINI MOTORERS HAVE A CHANCE TO CATCH THEIR BREATH IN SOUTH DAKOTA

MINI enthusiasts on MINI TAKES THE STATES 2016 had a chance to take it a little easier on day nine of the marathon motoring adventure with a short drive to South Dakota, ahead of the final five days of the rally which also happen to be the longest too.

A 221-drive sprint from St. Paul, MN, to Sioux Falls, SD, took the rally to the 2,500-mile mark since it departed from Atlanta, GA, on July 9. Around 650 MINIs passed through Minnesota’s Dairy Land and to the eastern edge of South Dakota, after hitting the road at Canterbury Park horse racing track near Minneapolis earlier in the day.

Ahead now lies a journey of almost 1900 miles in those five days through some of the most spectacular and remote areas of the country, taking in the Black Hills of South Dakota, Mount Rushmore, the Wasatch Mountain Range in Utah and the Mojave Desert.
