BUSIEST EVER DAY AT A WISCONSIN DRIVE-IN

Around 700 MINIs descended upon the small Wisconsin town of Wisconsin Rapids on MINI TAKES THE STATES 2016 as they paid a flying visit to the town’s traditional drive-in American diner for some typical American comfort food.

The massive influx of motorers stopped at Kathy’s Drive Inn part way through their journey from Green Bay, WI, to the twin cities of St. Paul and Minneapolis, MN, on day eight of the coast-to-coast rally.

“This is the most MINI Coopers that I have ever seen in one place,” exclaimed carhop Aubree Palmquist of Wisconsin Rapids, as she worked flat out to serve the hungry motorers. “This has to have been the busiest that this place has ever been but it’s such a pleasure to meet so many people from so many different places,” she added.

All visitors were given a complimentary ice cream before continuing on the 323-mile journey into Minnesota.
