Peter’s MINI Dream Comes True on MTTS

When Peter Park was serving in the army in Asia, he dreamed of driving his MINI from coast-to-coast across America on the other side of the world.

This week, Peter was able to fulfil that personal ambition when he joined MINI TAKES THE STATES, a 5,200-mile drive from California, to Massachusetts.

Peter, who lives in Seoul, South Korea, is one of many Motorers from all over the world who make up a large international contingent who have travelled to America to join the West Coast to East Coast rally.

“MINI TAKES THE STATES is world famous event and when I was serving in the army based in the Korean mountains, I always dreamed of driving my MINI Countryman on this epic adventure drive,” he said, “And it’s been even better than I imagined - an absolutely amazing experience with a wonderful community of MINI enthusiasts.”

Peter wasn’t able to bring his own MINI Countryman Cooper S to MTTS, so instead he has leased a similar MINI Countryman Cooper S in the US , which he has fitted with special Korean flag graphics, and is now driving all the way from San Francisco to Boston.

After the conclusion of the rally, Peter, who is blogging about his experiences at www.epicroads.com, will continue his US driving adventure when he takes his MINI Countryman to Florida.
