A Big MTTS Surprise in Texas for Taylor

When 19-year old MINIAC Taylor Neal was told by her father that MINI TAKES THE STATES 2014 would be passing right through her home city of Brady, Texas, her only reaction was “You have go to be kidding me!”

That’s because Taylor, who had only recently taken delivery of her beloved blue MINI Cooper, couldn’t believe that over 300 other MINIs and their owners would be soon arriving in the city for a lunchtime stop on the coast-to-coast rally.

Taylor’s father Danny is the County Judge in Brady and he was instrumental in granting permission for the MTTS participants to use the area alongside the McCulloch County Courthouse in the square in the center of Brady for a driving break.

“I was beyond thrilled when I learned from my father that all these MINIs would be driving right through Brady,” said Taylor, who received her MINI – named ‘Lucy’ - as a surprise birthday gift from her parents.

Taylor joined her father to greet the MINI Motorers as they took a break in the main square of the city, on the sixth leg of the 5,200-mile coast-to-coast rally, in a region known as the geographical center of Texas,

Although she was unable to join MTTS this time, she has set her sights firmly on joining a future rally. “I just love my MINI,” said Taylor, “It has so much personality and it’s a car that makes me and other people smile.  Being given my MINI as a gift was the biggest surprise of my life but MINI TAKES THE STATES visiting Brady came a close second!”
