MIKE'S A MINI SUPERFAN

The dedication of MINI superfan Mike Bernard goes back way beyond the 10 years that MINI has been present in the USA.

Sporting a t-shirt commemorating the MINI Meet East XVIII in Columbus in June 1992, as participants gathered at the Loveless Cafe in Nashville for the Rise & Shine meet on day four of MTTS , he told MINI USA NEWS that his devotion to the brand goes back much further.

Mike, originally from Trinidad and now living in Brookeville, Maryland, proudly spoke of his link to MINI stretching back over 32 years as he grew up with the classic MINI.

Mike now owns four classic Minis – including a 1966 UK Moke, which he is restoring – along with a 2004 MINI Cooper S.

He was present at the celebration marking 30 years of MINI held at Silverstone, England, and again at the 40th anniversary party again at Silverstone. However, this is his first MTTS and he has been joined by his wife, Karen. They will stay with the rally as far as Phoenix, Arizona.
