A MINI BOOST IN TENNESSEE

The cavalcade of MINIs passing through the town of Cross Plains in Tennessee brought an unexpected bonus to the town's Tribe baseball team. Parents, friends and Tribe team players were holding a fund-raising car wash in Cross Plains during the same morning that hundreds of MTTS rally motorers stopped for refreshments at Thomas Drugstore in the town.

The happy coincidence brought a big boost to fund raising efforts as several MINI owners took the opportunity to ask the volunteers to spruce up their cars. The aim of the event was to raise funds to send the team of 13 and 14-year old players to the Baseball State Finals in Dyersburg, Tennessee.

"We didn't know that MINI TAKES THE STATES was coming to Cross Plains, but this has really helped to increase our collection today," said one delighted parent.
