THE TREE OF SHAME

A sobering reminder for MINI drivers who were about to set off on their drive on the Tail of the Dragon at Deals Gap in North Carolina and Tennessee on day three of MINI TAKES THE STATES. This display, called 'The Tree of Shame', is made up of some of the remnant parts from vehicles and motorcycles that didn't make it around the famous 11 mile section of US highway 129 and its challenging 318 bends. The tree of shame stands at the start of what has been described as America's number one motorcycle and sports car road.
