AMAZING MINI DRIVING STUNTS PREVIEW THE START OF 2012 MINI TAKES THE STATES

The record-breaking parallel parking exploits of Chinese stunt drivers, Han Yue and Tenjgin Bao , were broadcast across the USA this morning when NBC's Today Show visited MINI USA's headquarters in Woodcliff Lake, NJ.

The two drivers demonstrated their stunning repertoire of driving tricks in a fleet of MINI vehicles, including a re-creation of the Guinness World Record for parallel parking that they set in China just last month (utilizing a space just 15 cm larger than the MINI they were driving).

NBC correspondent, Jenna Wolfe, broadcast live from the event at the MINI headquarters parking lot, where she even tried out some driving herself. She also demonstrated the difficulty of the parallel parking maneuver, taking 32 forward-reverse maneuvers to park her MINI Roadster in the same 5 feet one inch space into which Han Yue deftly place his MINI in a single sideways slide.

The two drivers also performed some remarkable two-wheel balancing stunts and a whole series of tire-smoking, 180 degree spins and J turns, along with several 'turn-on-a-dime' 360 degree rotations.

A series of 'teaser' segments were aired by the Today Show leading up to the four minute live broadcast. During the slot, Jim McDowell, Chief Motorer of MINI USA, was also interviewed, where he not only praised the capabilities of the two drivers but also previewed MINI TAKES THE STATES 2012, which starts from the same location tomorrow... with an even more extensive stunt driving performance beginning at 8:15 a.m. EDT.To see a video clip of the live broadcast from Woodcliff Lake, follow this link: http://today.msnbc.msn.com/id/26184891/vp/48056788#48056788
