I go from the West to meet those in the East!

After four days on the road enjoying the company of around 900 MINI Motorers on the western route of MINI TAKES THE STATES, I took a flight from California to Texas to meet up with the 500 MINIs that are heading to Colorado on the eastern leg of the epic rally.

As the western rally left Pasadena on a 460-mile drive to Flagstaff, event photographer Daniel Byrne and I flew to Dallas and prepared to meet a whole new group of MINI owners and enthusiasts as they readied for their Day Five, 360-mile journey to Oklahoma City, OK, after an 425-mile drive from Little Rock, AR.

So, will the western route live up to the ‘West is Best’ description given to it by those MINI motorers who are currently driving from Portland to Keystone, or will the east have it?
