MINI Drivers are Miles Ahead in JCW Challenge

After driving up to 2,515 miles in seven days on an epic, cross-country rally – keeping a close eye on their speedometers at all times! – MINI motorers had a chance to safely put the pedal to the metal and push their driving skills to the limit in a fun, end-of-rally driving challenge.

They were given the opportunity to enter a John Cooper Works Autocross Challenge on the final day of MINI TAKES THE STATES in Keystone, Colorado,

Overseen by the Indianapolis-based Miles Ahead organization, the challenge gave drivers the chance to set personal times against the clock on the autocross course behind the wheel of each of the JCW MINI models – Hardtop, Clubman, Convertible and Countryman.

On hand to supervise the entrants were Stéphan Grégoire, a veteran of the Indy 500 and the 24 Hours of Le Mans and Angela Savage, daughter of the late motor racing legend, Swede Savage.
