Now that’s what we call space efficiency!

Proving that the MINI Clubman can provide more than enough interior space for a family of five on a long distance cross-country road trip are the Martenson family from Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Brian and Sheila Martenson are currently driving in their 2016 Clubman on the eastern leg of MINI TAKES THE STATES 2018 and during the stopover in Oklahoma City, they were named as ‘Owners of the Day’ at the daily Rise & Rally event at Remington Park when owners met before the 250-mile drive to Dodge City, Kansas.

They have been joined by their children Oliver, Eleanor and Audra and are driving all the way to Keystone on the ‘Rally to the Rockies’.

Brian drove their Clubman all the way to the start of the rally in Orlando, where he was joined by his family. They will all drive back to Minneapolis together when the rally ends in Colorado.

Further demonstrating the space efficiency of their MINI, dad has insisted that all of their luggage for their road trip has to fit below the luggage cover in the rear of their space efficient vehicle….which it does!
